  • Tools to develop and improve your writing and storytelling.
  • Support in sharing your story with a larger audience.

Where?

  • University of Illinois at Chicago

Who?

  • Participants: Any RN with at least six months of nursing experience in any setting and a desire to write. No previous creative experience required.
  • Facilitators: Kathryn Kruse, MFA & Rebecca Singer, RN

How Much?

  • Free! Lunch, refreshments, and materials will be provided.

Why?

  • Tell Well provides the opportunity to share experiences and transform them into stories.
  • Nurses have amazing experiences on a daily basis. Yet, nurses often do not know how to communicate this work of caring and witnessing human joy and suffering as stories to share with themselves, friends, and colleagues.
  • Taking time and finding support in telling these stories can bring nurses greater satisfaction, pride, and nuanced understanding of their work.
